Imminence of RE2020
Nationally, buildings represent more than 20% of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In order to reduce them, at the end of 2016 the state launched the E + C- label foreshadowing the 2020 Environmental Regulation (RE2020).
This label sets the objective of promoting the construction of efficient buildings in terms of energy (positive energy buildings) and environmental (low production of greenhouse gases, throughout the life cycle of the building).
Obtaining the E + C- label is, in fact, associated with the environmental declaration of the products entering into the design of the construction. The summer of 2021 will undoubtedly be the high point of the implementation of the RE2020, just as a carbon footprint will become mandatory. The latter must be carried out via certified FDES.
Recognized certification
The FDES (Environmental and Health Declaration Sheet) must be certified by an independent body recognized by the state.
In France, INIES turns out to be the national reference base. Regarding its range of fixed and opening Bluesteel RPT skylights, BLUETEK has just obtained the certification, for 5 years, of the Environmental and Health Data Sheets of its products classified DENFC (Natural Smoke and Heat Evacuation Device) .
This FDES certification is a first on the territory in the field of manufacturing skylights.
The certified FDES of the fixed and opening Bluesteel RPT skylights from BLUETEK are consutable the INIES website.
FDES: essential documents
Sensitive to RE2020, BLUETEK has continued its environmental approach with the aim of offering FDES in line with government recommendations. These aim to continue improving the performance of buildings by reducing the carbon impact in construction while ensuring freshness inside buildings in the event of high heat.
These RE2020 objectives are already applicable to new constructions since January 1, and the FDES are now essential documents for an ecological transition which is about to become an obligation of results.
Bluetek anticipates the energy and carbon approach
While designing or renovating buildings with products benefiting from FDES is an undeniable guarantee of quality, through the certification of its FDES, BLUETEK anticipates, at the international level, existing or emerging labels in connection with the approach relating to the energy balance and carbon footprint of buildings.
The journey of a certified FDES
An FDES is established in the format of precise standards. This is the European standard NF EN ISO 14025, NF EN 15804 + A1 and its national complement NF EN 15804 / CN.
In order to meet these standards, BLUETEK approached Evea Conseil, a design office specializing in the life cycle of products. This study of BLUETEK's skylights enabled Evea Conseil to carry out the FDES which were consecutively certified by CSTB and then validated / certified by INIES.
INIES: a participatory base
The INIES database is managed in a participatory manner by construction stakeholders including the Public Authorities. This is the benchmark for environmental and health declarations of products, equipment and services for the evaluation of the performance of structures. The governance of the INIES database is governed by a supervisory board, chaired by the Alliance HQE-GBC (alliance of professionals for a sustainable living environment) and a technical committee, chaired by AIMCC (French association of product industries of construction).
