This particularly targeted audience came to discover the new products presented by the 167 solution providers present compared to 150 in 2019, an increase of 11%. Indeed, a real springboard for innovation, Expoprotection Sécurité has devoted, again this year, a large section to the technologies, solutions and services developed by the exhibitors, some of which were honored during the Expoprotection Sécurité Awards. Finally, the show's hybrid formula recorded its first results: nearly 40% of registered visitors activated their account on Expoprotection Sécurité Online.
“We are obviously very happy with the results recorded by this first edition of Expoprotection Sécurité. Beyond the "business" atmosphere that marked these three days, I note that we were able to offer a wider but above all richer offer than on APS 2019 by notably welcoming Cyber prevention and Fire Prevention and Protection alongside the Safety and Security offer. In terms of audience, visits were equivalent to 2019, despite the Covid context, even though many foreign visitors were unable to make it to the show due to the travel restrictions still in force. Conversely, we recorded strong growth in visitors from the provinces, which underlines the attractiveness of the show and the need for physical reconnection of players in a still very dynamic security market. An edition popular with visitors
Expoprotection Sécurité 2021 immediately established itself as the benchmark specialized event for the Security - Private Security sector in France with 167 exhibitors (up 11% compared to the previous APS edition) and 6 visits. Attendance which has not yet shown its full potential due to the Covid context, in particular for the many foreign visitors who have not been able to attend the show this year. On the other hand, French visitors rallied around the event, with strong participation from visitors from the provinces who represent nearly 400% of the total, up 40%.
In terms of segments, the breakdown is as follows:
- 63% professional intermediaries: integrators, installers, distributors, consultants and service providers;
- 37% of end customers, largely decision-makers or prescribers within their company in terms of purchasing security equipment or services.
First edition of the hybrid formula
Innovative, Expoprotection Sécurité proposed a hybrid formula combining online experience and physical visit to meet the expectations expressed by professionals. Expoprotection Sécurité Physique + Online offered an "enhanced" participation experience to participants who were able to alternate and combine at will: the physical visit, business meetings on site or online, participation in face-to-face conferences or distance, direct exchanges through discussion groups, personalized suggestions from suppliers and solutions, real-time alerts, etc., Thus, nearly 3 messages were exchanged between exhibitors and visitors while 000% “Connect” appointments were made online.
A rich and comprehensive program
For 3 days, the show offered a rich and comprehensive program:
- The Start-up Village highlighted eight young shoots in the sector and the entrepreneurial nuggets of tomorrow.
- Espace Cyberprévention brought together 10 expert exhibitors ready to answer all visitors' questions and a conference program dedicated to the Cyberprévention theme.
- The “Crisis Management” Village made it possible to respond to all the challenges facing organizations, in order to better protect their employees and guarantee their resilience.
- A program of more than 40 conferences, at the show or live, on Expoprotection Sécurité Online. Conferences to be found in replay on the platform until the end of December 2021.
The innovation fair
Epoprotection Sécurité 2021 was an opportunity to distinguish and honor a selection of the most innovative solutions thanks to the list of its Trophies. Meeting at the beginning of September, a jury of 10 experts (safety and security directors, fire managers, etc.) studied the applications submitted by the candidate exhibitors and nominated the 8 winners. The latter were featured at the show through a “special Innovation Trophies” tour, allowing people to discover and see during demonstrations the solutions that will make tomorrow's security.
