Decarbonization at the heart of the activities of the Intermat Demo Zone to immerse yourself in the construction site of tomorrow

Among the highlights on the program for the 2024 edition, activities from the INTERMAT Demo Zone, focused on the themes of decarbonization and security, will punctuate every 10 minutes over the 4 days of the event.

The art of showcasing innovations in construction materials and equipment

INTERMAT DEMO, one of the major attractions of the show, with a unique outdoor area dedicated to demonstrations, will allow exhibitors to showcase their materials and equipment in real use conditions. In 2024, the Demo Zone will be the crossroads for the most innovative and efficient equipment in the construction sector.

In a common area, it will accommodate innovative and new generation equipment, including hybrid or electric motors, and will allow testing of new engines and immersion in the construction site of tomorrow.

Every day, the show of moving machinery with nearly 200 demonstrations Through a program of nearly 200 demonstrations of construction machinery, construction professionals will be able to discover the know-how of manufacturers and the developments of low-carbon and digitalized materials and machines for greater safety, productivity, energy frugality, etc.

The demonstration area, revisited and friendly, will also offer a restaurant area with a varied offering of food trucks to continue discussions over lunch or a drink.

New for 2024, INTERMAT Demo will be divided into two zones: the gravel zone and the sand zone in order to offer a simulation of two construction site materials. Each zone will be punctuated by a demonstration every ten minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 17:30 p.m.

INTERMAT Demo Zone 1 – Gravel

RIVARD

Maneuvering and positioning of the 32T equipment by radio control, gravel suction by articulated arm, gravel dumping.

THEAM

Demonstration of the Sprider, a tool for placing asphalt (example: for trenches, sidewalks, etc.).

GILBERT

Handling the MG-90 and/or MG-60 machine with an excavator, taking sheet piles from the ground and putting them upright, showing the 360° rotation of the machine. Show the function of the vibratory hammer for piling without digging into the ground.

MERLO

Presentation of the EW25.5-90 electric machine under two uses with a particular focus on battery interchangeability, telematics solutions and the advantages in terms of costs of using an electric model vs. a thermal model.

GD PFC Construction

Demonstration of the platform on an amplirole with a focus on loading for storage and transport of armor to secure trench work.

Europe Projection: start-up of the x-screed D60 dry screed machine with application of sand product to the floor and MIXPRO 28 machine - 3 kW Leveling & PROJECT CP 35 + PREMIUM mixer

KINSHOFFER

Demonstrations on the maneuverability and flexibility of the NOX range of Tiltrotators for excavators.

KÄSSBOHRER

Demonstration of the new PowerBully 12D, a tracked dumper for the construction sector, with a focus on the driving characteristics of the PowerBully.

ROTOTILT

Demonstration of tool changing and leveling with the Volvo EW150.

iDIG

Demonstration of the precision of the iDig system as well as its ease of use. Demarcate a site using GPS and dig the demarcated area with the shovel.
