GSE is building an 843 m² business building near Libourne (33)

A mixed activity building respecting Lean Management

It was to respond to its dynamic growth and the obsolescence of its old Bordeaux site that FAAC France commissioned GSE to deliver a new real estate complex, better suited to its activity. To do this, a LeanManagement study was carried out in order to fulfill the dual objective of satisfying the manufacturer's customers, and of developing the well-being and comfort at work of all employees. This will ultimately result in improved business performance.

"This Lean Management study made it possible to find and take into account the ideal operating conditions by making the personnel, technical installations and sites work together so as to add value to the various processes with the least possible waste" explains Damien GABORIAU, Project Engineer at GSE.

Designed by Dumay Architecte, this activity building thus incorporates the recommendations of this study, in order to ensure the comfort and well-being of all employees, associated with optimal operation of the production chain.

The new complex thus includes a workshop and a 312 m² mezzanine, a 318 m² storage warehouse and more than 200 m² of offices and social premises located on the ground floor. Built on 1 m² of land, this project offers a total floor area of ​​2 m² as well as 000 parking spaces and a loading / unloading area.

This new site specializes in the design and production of automated systems for doors and roller shutters. More broadly, manufacturer of automation for 50 years, FAAC designs a wide range of automatic closing systems (for swinging and sliding gates, garage doors, road barriers), access control systems (retractable bollards, parking systems and access control), automatic doors (automatic pedestrian doors), shutters and blinds (drives for swing shutters, roller shutters and blinds).

“For Foncière AALTO, this is the 6th project carried out in partnership with GSE. Building on the success of these achievements and the climate of trust between our two companies, we naturally wanted to turn to GSE to support us on this project ”explains Alexandre ANDRE, Associate Director, at Foncière AALTO.

An ideal location near attractive poles

Located in the La Frappe business park, this business building benefits from the attractiveness of the municipality of Saint-Denis-dePile and the La Ballastière economic activity zone, served by a TER station. This major economic zone of Libournais is spread over 50 hectares, and alone concentrates nearly a hundred companies and more than 2 jobs. Belonging to the catchment area of ​​Bordeaux (000 minutes), the town , 35 minutes from exit 5 of the A10 (Bordeaux / Lyon), takes advantage of these infrastructures such as the Bordeaux-Mérignac international airport, the Saint-Jean train station and the A89 motorway.
