DOM-Metalux presents its new Moabi mortise lock

Today, the manufacturer is enriching its offer with Moabi, a new mortise lock whose performance greatly exceeds that expected by the AFNOR standard.

Unparalleled endurance

Ideal for replacing the majority of standard built-in models on the market, the Moabi single-point mortise lock has been specially developed by DOM-Metalux to equip wood and metal interior doors for intensive use in commercial buildings.

NF grade 3 certified, i.e. the highest level of the NF-Hardware article certification reference system, with provisions relating to the NF EN 12209 standard, it benefits from:

• an endurance of 1 million cycles on the ½ turn bolt,
• with a corrosion resistance of 480 hours in salt spray, thus allowing its installation in humid environments such as aquatic centers or even by the sea.

Results twice superior to the AFNOR benchmark, obtained in particular thanks to its quality of design; Moabi is available in three finishes (black cataphoresis coated, nickel-plated or brushed stainless steel).

A complete range to meet each configuration

Reversible right/left without disassembly with a center distance of 70 mm, the Moabi mortise lock is available in six versions with a 40 or 50 mm axis depending on the model: European profile with deadbolt and ½ turn, with L key with deadbolt and ½ turn, locking cane latch, square latch, cane latch and single deadbolt.

For environments where acoustic comfort is paramount, DOM-Metalux also offers a variant of the Moabi lock with a magnetic half-turn bolt that is only activated when faced with its magnetic strike. Thus limiting the slamming when closing, it guarantees flexible and silent operation, particularly appreciable in offices or coworking spaces.

A true concentrate of performance, the new Moabi mortise lock from DOM-Metalux is finally part of an eco-responsible design approach. Durable solution due to its exceptional robustness, its manufacture requires less metal.
