Benefiting from the only rain shield under CSTB Technical Assessment, DELTA protects the highest wooden real estate complex in France.
Culminating at 38 meters high with its tower which has 11 floors of apartments, the "Sensations" project in Strasbourg - 100% wood except the ground floor and the stairs - is a showcase for wood frame construction in Europe.
To wrap and protect the 6.000 m² of facades of the future 146 homes, the DELTA-FASSADE range of Doerken rain screens were chosen. Their status as the only rain screens with a CSTB Technical Assessment was decisive for those involved in the project who wished to leave nothing to chance and put all the chances of success on their side.
The tests passed by the screen to obtain the precious sesame of CSTB (Xenon tank tests, fatigue and ruin tests, insitu tests ...) have proven its exceptional resistance to weathering and therefore the quality and durability of the protection offered.
The reaction to fire Euroclass B (equivalent M1) of the membrane is the icing on the cake, Doerken equipping its products with this quality at no additional cost.
