The regulatory environment and the requirements of construction players are constantly changing. To better support construction professionals in their choice of construction systems, Rector, a leading French player in precast concrete, is revamping its website.
More intuitive and equipped with new sections, it offers a customer journey in line with their needs and market challenges. In addition, the latter has been designed to minimize its carbon footprint in order to be in line with the company's CSR commitments.
Customer needs at the heart of the user journey
Following the evolution of the market and regulations, Rector wanted its new website to place the needs of its customers at the heart of navigation and research in order to better direct them towards suitable construction systems.
Thus, from the home page, the search for solutions is organized based on their major challenges – RE2020, low carbon, thermal, acoustic, seismic, fire, biosourced – by providing them with the essential information to understand and better understand the regulations. .
For each of the topics covered, Rector presents its adapted systems and products. In a single page, the visitor learns about the rules to be taken into account and about Rector's products!
To guide construction professionals even more easily towards the brand's systems, the new website also offers a search by type of project for:
- new residential: detached houses, grouped detached houses and collective dwellings.
- new non-residential: Establishments open to the public, offices/shops/car parks, logistics and industries.
- the renovation : renovation of floors, extensions and elevations.
Thanks to this new page structure and optimized navigation, the new Rector website is more intuitive.
rector.fr, showcase of the group's CSR approach
In addition to being a real tool for presenting the brand's global offer (products, systems and services), the new Rector site must also reflect the CSR approach, initiated two years ago, by the group.
A new "CSR" section presents Rector's challenges, strategic areas and concrete actions, including:
- low-carbon innovations developed to build better together,
- Obtaining the Committed CSR label “confirmed” level by AFNOR, which makes Rector the first concrete manufacturer to be distinguished.
Finally, Rector's new website has been designed to reduce its carbon footprint compared to the old version, while ensuring full access to information. Rector thus has:
- chose a host that uses renewable energy (currently 78% with a target of 100% in 2025),
- hosted all the videos on YouTube in order to lighten the site,
- favored the classic pagination system to the detriment of infinite scrolls.
All this to offer fast, efficient navigation that is in line with the company's ambitions.
