Wood has always been installed on the floor of homes from the most sumptuous to the simplest, in private homes as well as in workplaces. It does not suffer from bad weather but when used, it is essential to protect it correctly to guarantee optimal ageing.

Often in oak, sometimes in exotic woods, the parquet floors, worktops, etc. are generally made of hard woods that are difficult to impregnate. Left raw, they will quickly become stained, damaged (scratches, wear, etc.) due to their more or less intensive use. It is therefore essential to protect them if you want to keep their beautiful appearance. Formerly the wax was the means used to ensure their longevity and their beautiful appearance. However, this has several drawbacks:

• It nourishes and protects the surface but clogs the wood over time, causing it to fade and making it slippery.
• It requires very regular maintenance, several times a year depending on traffic.

After wax, the era of vitrifiers has taken over for several decades:

• They provide a very resistant solution to stains and water, only the areas of passage can become very visible as soon as wear due to traffic appears.
• Maintenance can be cumbersome with tedious sanding. In addition, the film gives a satin or shiny appearance which may not be appreciated.

Currently, certain products related to oils give a second skin effect which makes it possible to preserve the natural aspect of the parquet.

OLEOFLOOR®, explanation: impregnation / second skin finish / resistance:

Impregnation: as for exterior wood with saturators, the excellent impregnation power conferred on oils allows OLEOFLOOR® to penetrate all interior wood to protect them to the core and guarantee good durability.

Second skin finish: the fluid and penetrating composition of OLEOFLOOR® allows it to become one with the support without leaving a film, to enhance the wood finish while maintaining the original color.

Resistance: OLEOFLOOR® resins combine with each other on the surface and generate a real barrier to external attacks, both mechanical and chemical. Parquet floors and work surfaces protected with OLEOFLOOR® are more resistant to repeated passages and to various chemical products (detergents, markers, etc.).

Most:

Lean maintenance: thanks to their impregnation power, the oils in OLEOFLOOR® do not stay on the surface and the wood does not clog while resisting stains. During maintenance, it is not necessary to carry out systematic sanding and it is even possible to make simple local touch-ups.

Deco:

• OLEOFLOOR® CLASSIC which brightens the wood to give a warm appearance with a beautiful satin matte finish.
• OLEOFLOOR® NATURAL which acts like a second skin with a matte finish. OLÉOFLOOR® NATURAL is totally invisible with the Clear version, or trendy in its antique white and antique gray versions.

OLEOFLOOR® benefits from the vaccine effect of Owatrol® saturators, ie: wood fed with OLEOFLOOR® remembers it and the quantities required for its maintenance are reduced.

In order to meet all requirements, Owatrol® also offers with VEGAFLOOR® and ULTIMAFLOOR® a range of particularly high-performance sealers thanks to their hybrid polyurethane-acrylic resins guaranteeing optimal protection against intensive use.

VEGAFLOOR®: provides the guarantee of a high-strength glazer: ideal for the living room, dining room or children's bedrooms, it resists scratches, repeated passages, punching, impacts. These two solutions are easy to apply to all types of wood, dry quickly (2/3 hours) without releasing any odor, guaranteeing the comfort of the applicator. The finish is non-slippery, the natural appearance of the wood is preserved, the film obtained does not yellow over time and does not fear light.

The decorative touch:

VEGAFLOOR® is available in matt, satin or glossy and ULTIMAFLOOR® in matt and satin. They can also be tinted beforehand with a wood stain, making it possible to obtain trendy effects such as "faux ceruse" or "aged" white.

To know : a pass of PRIMAFLOOR® before VEGAFLOOR® also makes it possible to prepare and color the parquet.
