All trades and functions are affected by this system reserved for job seekers and trainees primarily from city policy districts (QPV) and refugees in a regular situation.
With the “1 young person, 1 solution” plan, the “15.000 young talented builders” system is based on the measures decided by Prime Minister Jean Castex for the benefit of neighborhoods during the last Interministerial Cities Committee. It is therefore a proactive action that is part of a long-term approach to welcome, train and sustainably stabilize skills within the building industry and thus act on employment in priority areas.
To succeed in this initiative, the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Integration, the Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of the City, in conjunction with the State services, are committed to mobilizing the actors of the service. public employment as well as associative networks, in connection with the Regional Councils and the Departmental Councils. This mobilization will identify 15.000 young people and job seekers who want to join the sector, currently in high demand for labor. The FFB will also pay particular attention to the integration of refugees.
The FFB and its artisans and member entrepreneurs undertake to offer over the year 2021-22, at the national level, 15.000 work contracts and internships including apprenticeship or professionalization contracts with a view to stable employment. In addition, the FFB will strengthen its information actions on building trades, mobilize the profession's systems in terms of training, provident insurance and risk prevention.
For Elisabeth Borne: “Behind this agreement, a new massive mobilization is being put in place for the employment of young people and residents of priority neighborhoods. The entire public employment service will again be mobilized to support construction companies in their recruitments and enable them to take advantage of the hiring assistance mechanisms of the "1 young, 1 solution" plan.
Emmanuelle Wargon welcomes: "At the forefront of building homes for today and tomorrow, and supporting the considerable boom in energy renovation in France, the building sector is today confirming its driving role for employment and its commitment alongside the State to promote the professional integration of all our young people. "
According to Nadia Hai: ““ The lives of neighborhood residents can only change with the development of employment and the strengthening of economic attractiveness in these areas. In this sense, the “15.000 Young Talent Builders” operation is a fine illustration of what the government is doing in the neighborhoods: taking concrete and quick action to transform people's daily lives. ".
The president of the FFB, Olivier Salleron, is delighted: “Having ambition for employment means acting on the attractiveness of the sector by communicating on the possibilities of hiring and careers. It also means showing everyone that the building sector remains a sector of the future, our professions are eternal! With the “15 young talented builders” operation, the FFB takes its unifying role to heart and is ready to welcome women and men who want to prepare for their professional future in our sector of activity ”.
