European elections: the FFB publishes seven proposals

In a context marked by multiple crises and unprecedented mobilization of the European Union, the FFB proposes for the next five years to:

• support the implementation of the regulations for the 2019-2024 mandate and retain the principle of a regulatory pause;
• simplify the regulatory environment for businesses;
• promote a competitive internal market free from unfair competition;
• support, with simple, readable and accessible financing, the exponential investment needs in terms of ecological transition;
• supporting the digital transition of construction companies, particularly SMEs;
• revitalize cohesion policy with better consideration of the diversity and specificities of territories;
• consider a comprehensive strategy for the built environment.

For Olivier Salleron, president of the FFB: “The action of the European Union is directly or indirectly part of the daily lives of artisans and entrepreneurs in the sector. In a tense economic context marked by increasing regulatory constraints, it is essential that the EU remains attentive to the competitiveness of our companies. This is why the FFB is publishing a manifesto bringing together these seven proposals to give new impetus to the sector while making daily life easier for businesses. »
