Wind turbines and their delivery station are exposed to bad weather: frost, sun, humidity, too, it is essential to have access controls that are both robust and flexible:
- Robust to face climatic constraints and high security requirements.
- Flexible to meet the access needs of multiple stakeholders.
RENVICO chooses Locken to secure its sites and access to wind turbines!
As Olivier Rouchouze, responsible for maintenance and operations at Renvico France, explains, this activity requires perfect site security and infallible control of access to wind turbines for each type of intervention:
“Some companies that operate in our parks have a targeted mission in time or in space. For example, a technical controller will have access to all of our equipment, but over a short period of time which corresponds to a specific mission while the maintainer of a wind farm will be able to access for a longer period but only to the equipment of the park concerned. The system developed by Locken allows us, with a unique key per user for all the equipment in our fleet, to give each participant personalized access for a fixed period. "
“In addition, access to these facilities, which are 100 meters high and which include high-voltage equipment, requires authorization for work at height and electrical work. Access rights, allocated in real time from a centralized platform, are only granted by RENVICO to people who are up to date with their authorization. "
RENVICO opts for the latest generation of Locken mechatronic keys!
Renvico chose the latest generation of Locken electronic keys, which combine the characteristics of avant-garde electronics and a mechanical component.
Mr. Olivier Rouchouze, head of maintenance and operations at Renvico France, testifies:
“This is the end of the cumbersome bunch of keys with delicate, even uncertain management, which could paralyze the work of agents. Ditto for the problem of lost keys, which forced us to take costly measures to guarantee flawless security.
With the Locken solution, a unique key per operator allows access, after loading the necessary authorizations, to well-defined equipment, wind turbines or delivery stations, operated by Renvico France. The key provides the energy required to open the cylinders, which therefore does not require any electrical wiring. This characteristic guarantees access to the machines even when the electrical network fails. "
The electronic key with mechanical component, called mechatronics, chosen by Revinco, also has a Bluetooth module: the authorization to open is transmitted to the key by the user's Smartphone using the MyLocken application.
Locken's mechatronic solution combines two strong points: the robustness of the key, due to both its traditional mechanics and its avant-garde contactless transmission, and the flexibility of its use for the security manager, since authorizations are fully modular through Locken Smart Access software that LOCKEN engineers adapt to the needs of their customers.
Today, five wind farms, each comprising 5 to 16 wind turbines, are already equipped. Renvico plans to deploy the solution on thirteen parks in the coming weeks.
