Edilians Group accelerates its decarbonization plan with the acquisition of the company Ceritherm

A leading European player in the construction and renovation of building envelopes, EDILIANS Group and its subsidiaries offer complete, tailor-made solutions for roofs that combine tradition, technical performance and aesthetics. Drawing on 200 years of expertise and its 1700 talented women and men, EDILIANS Group stands out for its commitment to eco-housing and energy renovation. Its recent acquisitions (Tejas Borja, La Escandella, IRFTS) represent two major opportunities: becoming a leader in clay tiles on the Iberian Peninsula in addition to France, but also a major player in energy and environmental transitions.

The acquisition of CERITHERM will increase the chances of success and accelerate the deployment of innovative decarbonization solutions.

In support of our technical teams and our know-how accumulated over nearly two centuries, we have decided to implement a major innovation in 2024 in one of our main French factories in order to validate its potential on an industrial scale. before rolling it out across the group.»

The CERITHERM company, located in Haute-Vienne, benefits from more than 25 years of expertise in the design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of industrial or laboratory thermal equipment – ​​dryers, ovens and industrial ovens – for industry terracotta, ceramics, aeronautics and metallurgy. Its R&D team cultivates an innovative spirit by engaging in ambitious research programs focused both on the design and production of thermal equipment and on the optimization of existing ones.

The innovations developed by CERITHERM for customers outside the terracotta sector will also be an asset with strong medium/long term potential for EDILIANS Group (e.g.: green hydrogen).
