EQIOM Concretes and Mineral Floor: Teamwork at the service of decorative concrete

Working together for more than 5 years, it is quite natural that EQIOM Bétons called upon Mineral Floor, member of the network of Creators of Concrete Floors *, to carry out this beautiful project. EQIOM Bétons and Mineral Floor shared their know-how and experience on decorative concrete and took up the challenge of this work carried out in Articimo® Poli. This solution offers the elegance and aesthetics of marble by revealing the minerality of its components while ensuring good value for money for concrete. Its polished appearance is obtained by sanding the hardened surface.

A site well prepared upstream

Before the validation of the various aggregates, EQIOM Bétons had offered the restaurateur a choice of ten samples. His choice fell on aggregates produced in quarries in the off-white Jura and on light gray cement. Concrete was delivered from the Nanterre concrete plant. EQIOM Bétons had chosen to make night delivery in the XNUMXth arrondissement, because during the day this arrondissement is considered very congested.

After this implementation phase, Mineral Floor went on with the essential polishing phase to give a marble / terrazzo effect to the floor: the work was completed after a month.

Recognized know-how
