A first establishment on the Côte d’Azur
Specialist in the construction of cut stone residences, and firmly established in Ile-de-France for more than 30 years, the Verrecchia Group is entering a new stage of its development. After winning the “Les Hameaux” project in Amiens in May 2023, the “Villa Firenze” currently delivered to Eze and the “Novecento” program which will be delivered in 2024 to Le Bouscat, lay the foundations for development in scale of France.
For Marc Verrecchia, President of the Verrecchia Group: “Located in a legendary village on the French Riviera, “Villa Firenze” marks our establishment on the Côte d'Azur with the desire to bring all our experience in freestone construction to cultivate the art of well-being our buyers. »
This first residence delivered in the south of France illustrates the Group's DNA, with particular attention to the authenticity of the material, the durability of the building and the adaptability of the accommodation.
For Romain Belotti, Director of the Verrecchia Mediterranean agency created in 2019:« Extracted from the quarries of Provence, the cut stone we use is located near the construction sites and thus encourages short circuits. This is an integral part of our high environmental quality approach, implemented at each stage of construction. »
A hanging garden facing the Azure
A village of artists and great restaurants located a few minutes from Monaco and Italy, the town of Eze hosts 16 apartments ranging from 2 to 4 rooms within Villa Firenze.
The residence is distinguished by generous surfaces where the cut stone, signature of the Verrecchia group, is omnipresent and blends perfectly with the environment of Cap Estel. Surrounded by gardens, the residence blends harmoniously into its environment, with the meeting of stone and Genoese ocher, in elegant and timeless lines.
The very large terraces and gardens extend the interior and offer an exceptional view of the Mediterranean. This panorama is also visible from the infinity pool of Villa Firenze, which separates the two buildings in the side of the Eze hill.
Verrecchia experts offer a personalized and careful customer journey which has made it possible to achieve a recommendation level of 91% to date (Afnor certified questionnaire).
A breakthrough work on the landscape
Overlooking the swimming pool and the sea, a sculpture is installed in the heart of the residence. The sculptor and visual artist Henri Frachon collaborated with the Journeyman Stonecutter Victor Parzych, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, to create a work which, through the prism of the hole, playfully focuses the eye on the Mediterranean landscape.
This cut stone sculpture is the result of a collaboration with the Verrecchia Endowment Fund, the group's philanthropic structure dedicated to the influence and promotion of trades and arts around cut stone. The Endowment Fund carries out actions of general interest for education and practice via artist residencies, scholarships and workshops for young audiences.
Since 2020, the Verrecchia Group, in conjunction with its Endowment Fund, has developed and carried out artistic commissions which come into dialogue with architectural ensembles. The Endowment Fund calls on artists and stone-cutting artisans with the aim of bringing a creative and contemplative dimension to cut stone into living spaces.
In a game of breakthroughs on the landscape and on the Villa Firenze, the monumental sculpture “Endless Holes” takes up the emblematic stone of Vers Pont du Gard which also shaped the villa. The artist imagined for this place a slender work whose holes, a thematic recurrence in his work, focus the eye on selected surrounding elements. By its size, the sculpture will serve as a spatial and living reference within the Villa.
