Detached house in Argonay with Signy® tile
This important single storey house built in 2016, perfectly combines modernity and tradition. Indeed, it fits perfectly into the local landscape of the Chambéry region, with its wooden facade. Modernity is brought to the table with dark shutters and a very special cover in terracotta tiles in an anthracite black color. This contrast gives this achievement a very marked cachet.
The two sloping roofs seem to be laid, and thus emerge perfectly from the whole structure. The roofs cover the structure and their different positions bring dynamism and aesthetics to the whole.
This achievement is undoubtedly a remarkable combination of techniques for flat and sloping roofs. Indeed, the collection of water at the bottom of the slope is carried out using a terrace roof system. The use of large black roof overhangs underlines and marks the entire structure.
The key words of this achievement are without any doubt: perfect technicality. We can indeed see a real know-how and a real desire to integrate into this splendid mountainous landscape.
The Vision Bois Individual Home Builder was in charge of this project. It is the Signy® tile in its Anthracite Mat version which was chosen, in particular for its aesthetics and its dark shade but also because the tile makes it possible to respond in all respects to the geographical constraints of the region. Indeed, the Signy tile can be laid at lower slopes than those recommended by the DTU.
For the installation company, this tile guarantees ease of installation with its variable longitudinal post of 7 cm. The tile also gives this realization a simple and clean rendering thanks to its well marked lines.

Detached house in Annecy with the Opal® tile
With nearly 450 m2 of roof to renovate, this major project located in the Annecy region is a true masterpiece. A silversmith's job perfectly executed by the Arragain roofing company using Opal Monier tiles.
The renovation of the roof was extremely complex. Indeed the multitude of singular points (fireplaces, roof windows, valleys, hip, skylights) was a real implementation challenge for the roofing company. The very traditional design of the Opal tile and its accessories brings a real cachet to this building and goes perfectly with this house typical of eastern France.
We can also observe on this cover a perfect mix of tiles revealing all the charm and aesthetics of these.
The Opal tile in its Flamed Red version was chosen. A solution combining performance, preservation of heritage and the local landscape.
In fact, this range of tiles is recognized for its traditional aesthetics thanks to its engobed finish appearance. Its non-cutting edges and its positioning marks allow a real comfort of implementation.
Among the key points of this achievement, we will note: the inclusion of punches and weather vanes shaped by hand, at the meetings of hip and ridge, thus reinforcing the traditional aspect of the building. The elaborate design of the roof tiles allows them to be perfectly integrated within the plain square, thus not distorting the whole. We can also note the very precise and extremely well done work of the countless crawling, valley, hip and singular points of the structure bringing it all its charm.
