While in January the downward movement was carried by only half of the banks, at the beginning of February Empruntis notes an acceleration. Indeed, 2/3 of the scales are decreasing, on average 20 basis points, but some are even announcing reductions of up to 40 basis points (banks having not increased or decreased their rates since November ).
The remaining third is more stable. Only 2 banks chose an increase of 5 and 10 basis points. In the latter case, it is a readjustment linked to a very significant drop in January. The average rate over 20 years is therefore 4.05% and the best profiles are given rates starting from 3.75%.

Everything is done to stimulate the market and allow the French to plan again in a real estate purchase and lift the wait-and-see attitude. »
