This new World Research and Development Center covers two hectares, including 8.000 m2 of buildings. The vast complex has been the subject of a major landscaping, in architectural coherence with the different mineral facades designed by the architect Jean-Pierre Meignan.
To surround the site, the Leroy Paysages (53) company intervened with the creation of 2 outdoor car parks, numerous plant layouts and gabion walls.
In order to control, protect and secure all accesses, Leroy Paysages has equipped all outdoor spaces with EXALT® fences and ALLIX® gates from DIRICKX, the leading French manufacturer of metal fences and gates.
ALLIX® Freestanding: secure, fast and efficient access
Leroy Paysages' technical teams installed two self-supporting industrial ALLIX® gates, filled with EXALT® bars with a length of 6,5 m.
Equipped with an integrated rack, these gates have a wireless communication system, for optimal security.
The ALLIX® automation brings real comfort of use with a faster opening-closing of the gate of 15 m / min for passages from 3 to 8 m and of 12 m / min for passages from 8,50 to 10 m , (a gain of 40% to 60% compared to existing ranges). This motorized version contains all of the safety devices (a set of detection cells, flashing lights and area lighting).
Reliable to any test due to its resistance, the automation is guaranteed for 2 years. Finally, in the event of a power failure, a 24Vdc backup battery can take over. This self-supporting gate is an essential device for this high traffic passageway: without rail on the ground, the passage is perfectly clear, without any jerking for vehicles.
EXALT® ORIGIN: an ultra-contemporary barrage
Surrounding all the car parks of the new head office, around 200 meters of 2 m high fencing incorporate an ultra-contemporary EXALT® bar, and enhance the site with style and originality. Inspired by nature, for a better integration into its environment, the rhythm of the bars of this fence is irregular and random, which gives the EXALT® bars a different perspective from a traditional fence.
Like the mineral facades of the ROULLIER Group's R&D buildings, the gray color of the EXALT® bar is in perfect harmony with the slate-lined aisles and the numerous gabion walls.
Among other equipment, a sliding gate on the ALLIX® rail also protects access to the site, in complete harmony with the EXALT® fences.
The installation of the latter required a special study by the design office (specific cell) of DIRICKX to be able to fit it behind the cladding of the building.
This motorized gate with a length of 6,50 m is equipped with multiple low voltage security accessories: presence detector (wireless transmission), sensitive edges, flashing light and area lighting. To facilitate its implementation, its sealing interface serves as a mounting template.
Leroy Paysages also installed an ALLIX® manual gate with double leaves, 4 m long. Implemented on the green flow, on the old railway line which crosses the site, the ALLIX® portal is easy and quick to install, with adjustable hinges, a 180 ° opening and reversible accessories already mounted on the structure ( lock, hinges, bayonet, strike). Adaptable, this gate can be installed on any type of terrain.
To cope with bad weather and the seafront climate, DIRICKX fences and gates have received a Protect + ® coating suitable for the most corrosive environments.
Finally, all of the DIRICKX gates and fences were chosen in a Gray RAL 7016 color, in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature of the new World Research and Development Center of the Roullier Group.
