Rockwool presented its innovations at the Nordbat exhibition at the Grand Palais in Lille

On this occasion ROCKWOOL, world leader in rock wool insulation, was present on April 10, 11 and 12 at the Grand Palais in Lille to present its innovations and services which enable effective and sustainable insulation: Rockin Bag System for insulation of converted attics and the Rockcycle rock wool collection and recycling service.

Rockin Bag System for optimized thermal and acoustic comfort in converted attics

Rockin Bag System from ROCKWOOL provides insulation for converted attics without interior work, thanks to the insufflation of rock wool. It guarantees excellent performance with a thermal conductivity of 0,036 W/mK and offers on average an additional temperature of 3°C, or 20% energy savings observed after installation. This is the only system allowing the renovation of ramps from the outside without completely removing the covering, i.e. installation 3 to 4 times faster than insulation from the outside.

The Rockcycle service: circularity at the heart of priorities

ROCKWOOL rock wool is circular. On the one hand, it is made up of basalt, one of the most abundant raw materials on the planet. On the other hand, rock wool has a lifespan of over 65 years without losing its performance. ROCKWOOL products can contain up to 75% non-virgin material and can be recycled infinitely thanks to Rockcycle.

Offered for 10 years in France, the ROCKWOOL Rockcycle service has a simple purpose: to collect and recycle waste and unused quantities of rock wool insulation to create new insulation. This service has made it possible to collect and recycle more than 3.000 tonnes of rock wool on the French market, during the year 2023.
