On this renovation project in Hérault, the work focused on the ventilation, heating, cooling and remote room-by-room control.
OGS Energies replaced the radiators, the oil boiler and the air conditioning splits with a Hitachi Energy heat pump combined with a Thermador buffer tank to store the excess thermal energy produced by the heat pump and optimize its operation.
The heat pump is coupled with the brand new ACOSI+ wood fiber heating and cooling ceiling solution from Thermacome (1st quarter 2025) which is fully consistent with the house insulation also made from wood fiber.
On the ventilation side, OGS recommended the Mechanical Ventilation by Insufflation VMI solution to optimize indoor air quality and ensure thermal comfort and energy performance.
Finally, in order to optimize the energy performance of the already particularly economical reversible ceiling (water regime at 28°C), the Thermozyklus management system was chosen in order to have ultra-precise regulation of the hydraulic and thermostatic system room by room.
