Playing an active role in local energy transition is central to the purpose of the Butagaz group. This is why the group decided to create its own Foundation. The Foundation aims to launch various environmental and societal projects.
Flers (62) is a Pas-de-Calais village of 225 inhabitants in which 61% of the dwellings are still heated with fuel oil. A solidarity program for the renovation of energy-intensive housing has been set up by the Butagaz Group Foundation, with priority given to households in fuel poverty.
