A Sectoral Transition Plan aims to build a 360° vision in order to allow manufacturers to change processes or even business models to better adapt to carbon neutrality objectives and prepare for changes in the demand of their downstream markets, which are also upset by the transition.
Each of these roadmaps is based on four components – Technology, Financing, Market/employment and Public and private action plans – and is based on close collaboration with the main players in the sector concerned (federations and majors in the sectors ).
A Sector Transition Plan takes place over a period of 12 to 18 months depending on the complexity of the sector, and is punctuated by exchanges with manufacturers (collective and bilateral) as well as extended meetings with stakeholders in the sector.
Consultation and modeling at the heart of the methodology
Bibliographic work and exchanges to draw the technical and economic inventory of the sector
Definition and validation of reference factories in the French industrial park
Analysis of the demand for materials and changes linked to the transition
Job and skills market analysis
Consultation and development of an action plan, public and private, allowing a viable decarbonization of the sector
Several deliverables will be made available to public authorities, industrialists and financial institutions throughout the project and will serve as support in the decision-making process.
