In this video, Vincent Tchemoun, business manager at the Ginger group, presents the tests carried out on the guardrails. These tests ensure user safety and compliance with European standards (Eurocodes).
On the program of this video:
- Static tests: simulation of horizontal and vertical forces exerted on the guardrails to verify that the guardrail does not move and that the attachment is secure.
- Dynamic tests: simulation of an individual falling against a guardrail with soft and hard impact bodies
- Checking the dimensions of a guardrail using spherical templates
These tests help prevent the risk of falls and ensure the structural safety of guardrails in new or renovated buildings.
