In this episode, we fly over Avermes, in Allier, where the E.Leclerc hypermarket has installed, with Izivia, a subsidiary of the EDF group, nearly 70 charging points for electric vehicles, including two Izivia Express fast charging stations. These stations are powered by 22.000 m² of solar panels in shade structures, which also cover 30% of the hypermarket's annual energy consumption.
This installation combines solar self-consumption and electric mobility and offers local and controlled energy. This initiative shows how supermarkets can contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable mobility for their customers.
This “Electric Territories” series is aimed particularly at elected officials, local authorities, and local stakeholders who are looking for concrete solutions to meet climate and energy challenges.
