In Noventa di Piave, in the province of Venice, the intervention to restore the sliding gate valve of the dike was a success. The masonry, made up of solid bricks, showed cracks and damaged binder at the base of the structure.
Under the direction of Riccardo Zeni, business engineer, the URETEK technical team opted for the innovative Deep Injections method. This approach involves making perforations in the masonry, followed by the injection of IDRO CP 200 low expansion pressure resin. This process made it possible to regenerate the damaged binder and effectively restore the structural integrity of the structure. .
In just five days, 131 m3 of masonry were consolidated, including 69 m3 on the surface and 62 m3 under the foundation.
With more than 30 years of experience, this rapid, economical and minimally invasive process has already stabilized more than 54.000 structures in France and Italy.
