This video allows you to discover the main solar thermal collector technologies and their operating temperatures, and to understand how they work in relation to the needs of an individual home.
These videos are designed to provide an understanding of the technical basics of solar thermal energy production and/or to learn and understand good practices for the design, installation and maintenance of different solar thermal systems.
They were carried out by the National Institute of Solar Energy (INES) as part of the "Training Energy Renovation Actors" (FARE) project, which aims to accelerate and scale up the energy renovation of buildings. The FARE project aims to train 150.000 new professionals by 2030.
The project consortium is made up of ASDER, AQC, INES, CAPEB, the Eco-Building Cluster, GRETA, AFPA, the CMQ Transborder Sustainable Construction and Innovation, La Solive, Déviations and France Travail.
The FARE project is supported by the State as part of the “Skills and Jobs of the Future” AMI of the France 2030 Program, operated by the Caisse des Dépôts.
