Low-Carbon Glass, a low-carbon glass, was selected for the construction of the ADORE Research and Diagnostic Center in Amsterdam. To produce this glass, CO2 emissions are reduced by 40%. The glazing has a unique coating that provides better insulation and therefore reduces energy consumption.
Thanks in part to this glass, the building will be 25% more sustainable than current requirements for new construction.
The installation of Low-Carbon Glass is a joint project of: AGC Glass Europe, Amsterdam UMC, MedicomZes in Gevelbouw facades.
