CERIB is an Industrial Technical Centre, recognized as a public utility and established in 1967 jointly by the Minister for Industry and the Minister for the Economy and Finance, at the request of the French Federation of the Concrete Industry (FIB). With over 180 employees and a high level of expertise, its testing equipment for construction products and materials is spread across 15.000 m² of laboratories.
The Centre operates throughout France, in the French overseas departments and territories (DROM/COM) and abroad, and has three regional branches (Greater West, Greater East, Indian Ocean). Its activities encompass testing and evaluation, studies and research, standardization and certification, technical support and knowledge transfer, and it has a training centre.
As a research operator for the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, its eligible R&D work can benefit from the Research Tax Credit.
