Low-Carbon Glass, the latest innovation added by AGC to its range of glass products, stands out for its significantly reduced carbon footprint.
To produce this low-carbon glass, AGC adopted a holistic approach and reviewed every step of the manufacturing process to minimise CO2 emissions, upstream and during production itself, but also downstream, up to delivery to the customer.
This comprehensive approach has enabled AGC to develop Low-Carbon Planibel Clearlite, a low-carbon float glass with a reduced CO2 footprint. Low-Carbon Planibel Clearlite glass has the same appearance and offers exactly the same performance as standard Planibel Clearlite float glass.
It can be laminated for safety or provided with a solar control or low-emissivity layer for thermal insulation, and can be implemented in double and triple glazing.
