On Monday, February 9, 2026, the first CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage) Steering Committee dedicated to French industries committed to decarbonization took place at the Group's headquarters under the aegis of the Government represented by Mr. Mathieu Lefèvre, Minister Delegate for Ecological Transition.

This meeting was an opportunity for Guy Sidos, CEO of the Vicat group, to share their decarbonization roadmap and the ambition that drives them, highlighting their structuring CCUS projects, essential levers to support the sustainable transformation of the cement industry.
They presented their VAIA project, a cornerstone of the decarbonization of the Rhône Valley.
