Arkema's Carling site in Moselle is one of the leading acrylic plants in Europe. It produces acrylic monomers used in performance coatings, adhesives, and water treatment. These materials are increasingly in demand in our daily lives.
By 2026, a new patented purification technology on the site will improve its operational efficiency and environmental footprint, in line with the best standards.
This investment will reduce the site's CO20 emissions by 2%, thus contributing to the Group's ambitious climate plan based on a trajectory of 1,5°C by 2030, validated by the SBTi.
