Late payments, unpaid invoices, and frivolous disputes: payment delays are having a lasting negative impact on the cash flow of many businesses. While the 2024 report from the Payment Delays Observatory* indicates an improvement in payment practices among SMEs and micro-enterprises, nearly 30% of businesses were still paying or being paid beyond the legal deadline.
