Fifteen years ago, Thermacome launched the first low-temperature heating/cooling ceiling. Today, true to its pioneering spirit and committed to more sustainable construction, Thermacome is expanding its ACOSI+ range with a new, innovative version: a low temperature heating/cooling ceiling incorporating a wood fiber support, more ecological, and still without compromising on performance and comfort.
Designed for the construction or renovation of individual houses, collective housing or small tertiary sector, ACOSI+ wood fiber perfectly meets the search for natural solutions.
ACOSI+ wood fiber is also perfectly suitable for low-carbon construction, to timber-framed houses, both through its natural and renewable component, and through the low energy consumption of the system, in heating and cooling.
Diffusing heat and freshness at more than 80% by radiation, very responsive, low energy consumption, efficient in cooling as an alternative to air conditioning, the high density of the wood fiber accentuates the thermal inertia of the building, for lasting and pleasant freshness in summer.
The unrivaled combination of energy efficiency, energy savings and comfort in summer and winter
Thanks to its recognized know-how on the market, Thermacome has been able to create a wood fiber solution with thermal performance equivalent to the solutions in the traditional ACOSI+ range. Note that the high density of the wood fiber increases the thermal inertia of the building, for lasting and pleasant freshness in summer.
ACOSI+ meets heating and cooling needs, both in new builds and renovations. It provides a high-performance solution without compromising on system efficiency and user comfort.
In both winter and summer, the circulation of water at optimal temperatures ensures an excellent coefficient of performance (COP) for heat pumps. In addition, direct energy transfer by radiation contributes significantly to the quality of comfort experienced and allows for lower heating temperatures and further reductions in energy consumption. ACOSI+ is therefore one of the most efficient and energy-efficient systems on the market.
Particularly responsive, the ceiling adjusts in just a few minutes. Coupled with a reversible heat pump or a passive geocooling solution (geothermal heat pump), the system switches to cooling mode in summer for the greatest comfort of the occupants. Without mixing cold air, nor large temperature differences with the outside, the Ceiling cooling is an optimal solution and very pleasant to feel, at the lowest cost.
Preformed tiles for quick and easy installation
Thermacome has designed a ready-to-install heating/cooling ceiling, made of wood fiber tiles, covered with an aluminum plate for better diffusion, into which the tube is clipped. The tiles are fixed directly to the ceiling frame, all that remains is to unroll the tube with the Thermacome installation tool. Thanks to the ACOSI+ wood fiber tiles, professional installation is ensured and the installer saves time on the job site.
Designed for both new and renovation installations, the complete system, tubes and slabs, measures only 30 mm d'épaisseur and has no impact on the development of attics or upper floors. Fully integrated into the building, the Acosi+ wood fiber ceiling eliminates the need for radiators or exposed air conditioning units. Without air circulation, it also contributes to a healthier interior, limiting the dispersion of dust, allergens or bacteria.
Characteristics CheckHide
- 30 mm thick grooved aluminized wood fiber 'diffuser' tiles. Thermal resistance R = 0.59 m².K/W
- DN16 flexible tubes sized for very low temperature use. Unrolled in a serpentine pattern at 12,5 cm intervals in the grooves of the diffuser tiles provided for this purpose.
- Synthetic material distributors composed of modular elements allowing the departure/return of circuits downwards and upwards in vertical position, as well as to the right or left in horizontal position.
