Derbicoat® NOVI P 2.5 is a bituminous vapour barrier underlay in which the virgin bitumen is entirely replaced by Novitumen®, a recycled bitumen.
The membrane is made of a polyester/glass composite reinforcement. It is used as an underlay in a multi-layer waterproofing system or as a vapor barrier. The membrane is talc-coated on both sides.
Novitumen® represents a cutting-edge technology based exclusively on the use of recycled bitumen. This material comes from the recovery of carefully selected production waste, installation waste, and old roofing materials. This approach not only reduces the ecological footprint, but also actively supports the circular economy.
The membrane is designed according to the principles of Urban Mining, which involves reusing materials previously considered waste. This innovative manufacturing process optimizes waste management and reduces pressure on natural resources.
