Thanks to the new AirQ Sensor, the Indoor Air Quality Index (IAQ) is calculated 24/24 for continuous monitoring of indoor air quality. The sensor measures the CO2 concentration in the room, as well as the rate of total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) and PM10 and PM2.5 particles. It also measures relative humidity.
Coupled with the heating/air conditioning system and Controlled Mechanical Ventilation, Easyzone 25 automatically triggers the sanitation process if the air quality level deteriorates. In addition, if CO₂ or TVOC levels are high, the AirQ sensor will activate the ventilation equipment to renew the indoor air by promoting the entry of outdoor air. For simplified air quality improvement, Airzone has directly integrated the ionizers into each register of the Easyzone 25 plenum.
AirQ Sensor integration with Easyzone 25 allows you to move from constant ventilation to controlled ventilation*, thus promoting energy savings in buildings and homes. The system enables the activation of:
- ventilation based on CO₂ and TVOC concentration
- ventilation based on relative humidity
- cyclic ventilation
- a Free-cooling function based on temperature.
