The SRD light pipe consists of a dome, 3 pieces of SRM rigid tube of 61cm, an elbow for SRK rigid tube (except diameter 550), a ceiling frame, a prismatic diffuser and an assembly kit.
The total length of all the elements of a rigid tube connected in a straight line is 2,1 m. The rigid aluminum pipe (thickness 0,5 mm) is covered by a reflective silver coating which reflects 98% of the light (the inside of a tube looks like a mirror).
The construction of a reflective tube guarantees more light in the room. The SRD skylight can be used in any type of building, but with regard to minimum light loss, it is recommended for buildings in which natural light is transmitted to distant distances up to 12m.
The skylight can also be used in the evenings and during the night thanks to the lighting system installed at the end of the well which acts as a lamp.
