The construction of the scissor ladder allows easy adaptation of its length according to the height of the room without the need to make any cuts. In addition, it allows the staircase to be closed by reducing dimensions, and to use an opening in the ceiling, the dimensions of which are not to be taken into account. The staircase box can be made of wood, metal or a steel frame integrated into a wooden box.
In its standard version, it has a peripheral seal and finishing slats. The special construction of the box allows a quick installation of the scissor staircase and helps to define its level in the ceiling precisely.
The LST scissor staircase has in its standard version a white thermo-insulating hatch, the thickness of which is 3,6 cm. The timber cabinet construction is already equipped with quick-assembly brackets and finishing slats. The hatch lightening mechanism ensures its stability in each opening position and also during full opening. This guarantees safe handling of the stairs in both directions. Its construction also made it possible to eliminate the lock. The ladder is powder coated in RAL 7022 gray. It is possible to extend the staircase up to a maximum height of 330 cm, by adding 2 LSS steps.
