In accordance with the circular economy principle "Consume better, waste less", Rector has developed Rectosten rEPS, an innovative interlocking block made from 95% recycled polystyrene beads.
Rectosten rEPS is not only an ecological interlocking block, it is also a high-performance interlocking block! Suitable for individual houses, collective housing and public buildings, it offers a level of quality and thermal performance identical to traditional polystyrene interlocking blocks, while considerably reducing the carbon footprint of lower floors.
A significant carbon gain
Available in UP 23, 19 and 15, and combined with our optimized beams, Rectosten rEPS displays a carbon gain of 9,15 kg/m² eq CO² on the floor*. This allows us to calmly consider the next RE2020 thresholds.
*For a 95 m² low floor intended for a single-family home, the carbon footprint of the masonry superstructure decreases by approximately 10%, which corresponds to a reduction in the carbon weight of the floor of 9,15 kg/m² eq CO².
In addition, to further minimize your environmental impact, we offer you an optimized installation plan for each project. This will allow you to take advantage of our expertise to create a parquet layout and thus avoid overconsumption and unnecessary waste.
