Right off the bat, crawl space insulation is not the top priority when evaluating the insulation of a building or home. However, it plays a vital role in limiting energy loss. A well-insulated crawl space provides an additional thermal barrier, making the floor warmer and more uniform in temperature, which improves the comfort of the home. In addition, this insulation helps purify the air, making it drier and protecting against humidity problems.
EDILTECO® France is expanding its range of interjoists for insulating crawl spaces, with the introduction of two new certified references: EDIL-Voutain+ which includes an Up 15 reference and EDIL-Moulé an Up 19 reference.
Designed to meet the strict requirements of thermal studies and the specific needs of building professionals, the EDIL-Voutain+ Up 15 and the EDIL-Moulé Up 19 are now NF certified by the CSTB, thus offering a guarantee of quality and reliability for projects requiring particularly effective thermal insulation solutions.
Intended for buildings and individual houses on crawl spaces, these ranges of interjoists constitute a real barrier to heat loss, guaranteeing energy performance for the crawl space of the home. Indeed, thanks to their excellent insulation qualities, the interjoists of the EDIL-Moulé and EDIL-Voutain+ range participate in the thermal improvement of floors and contribute to the construction of buildings in compliance with and beyond the requirements of the bioclimatic needs of RE 2020.
