A system adapted for collective housing
The PEGASUS Flexishunt solution from Joncoux is a system that allows the installation of THPE condensing boilers during renovation on a shunt or Alsace conduit.
This system ensures the evacuation of combustion products from high-pressure condensing gas appliances with a sealed combustion circuit of type C9, C(15) by reusing an existing collective smoke duct of type Shunt or Alsace.
The combustion air intake of the devices is carried out through the annular space between the existing duct and the PEGASUS Flexishunt system.
The system is eligible for Energy Savings Certificates (BAR-TH-163).
PEGASUS FLEXISHUNT is a suitable solution for a gas condensing boiler, in complete safety to ensure the proper evacuation of fumes.
PEGASUS FLEXISHUNT: suitable for existing shunt or Alsace smoke ducts
A Shunt, Shunt Duo or Alsace conduit is a collective masonry conduit intended for the connection of type B1 gas appliances, in particular boilers.
PEGASUS FLEXISHUNT allows up to 6 devices to be connected individually in this duct and to keep the chimney, an individual part which prevents the combustion products from flowing back to the upper floor.
The renovation allows the ventilation of the accommodation to be separated and renovated and thus to gain in energy performance. While ensuring the safe evacuation of combustion products and fumes.
Pegasus FLEXISHUNT is composed of several elements for easy and successful implementation!
1 - The stainless steel hose
The hose is made of 316 stainless steel, specially designed for condensing appliances operating at high pressure. With an internal diameter of 50 mm and great maneuverability, it allows a reliable and rapid installation for the rehabilitation of the conduit.
Packaged in 100 meter boxes, this allows several columns to be made.
2 - One low finishing kit per dwelling
The kit consists of a 43° stainless steel elbow, a claw connector to ensure the connection with the hose, a low finishing plate to maintain the aesthetics of the housing and a C9 or B3 end piece depending on the chosen configuration.
3 - The finishing kit: stump + terminal
The metal stump is positioned on the existing terminal. Made of stainless steel, the stump is highly durable against bad weather and UV rays. It is possible to produce parts specially designed to the dimensions required for the site. The individual terminal is fixed directly to the hose with a claw connector and completes the stump.
The whole has been successfully tested by our Joncoux teams, to ensure the evacuation of combustion products in complete safety without re-ventilation in the combustion air, certified by the EIFFEL laboratory.
