Enjoy long showers while saving energy! Not a problem with this shower frame. Rapido state-of-the-art with integrated wastewater heat recovery system (two heat exchanger pipes) for our modern built-in shower systems.
Thanks to innovative heat recovery technology, the hot water you've already showered with is reused to heat the water coming from the cold water supply. Needless to say, wastewater and fresh water do not come into contact with each other.
This smart and sustainable system significantly reduces energy consumption, which also means lower carbon emissions. And it's also easy on your wallet: for example, a four-person household with 350 showers each per year saves around 48% on energy costs!
Compared to similar exposed systems, this sophisticated set for built-in installation gives you complete freedom of choice when finding the shower GROHE that suits you best. The powder-coated, self-supporting frame is fully pre-assembled. The all-in-one set comes with wall sockets for hand and head showers*, insulated mixed water pipes, and the universal flush-mounting box. GROHE Rapido SmartBox with 2 lower inlets (for finishing sets GROHE 2-function), all pre-assembled - and fits perfectly with our built-in shower systems Grohtherm sold separately.
Installation is simple and hassle-free and designed for wall or drywall installation**.
The installation depth from the rough wall to the frame face is at least 157 mm, while from the rough wall to the final finish it varies from 182 mm to 197 mm. And the revision door has a thickness of 25 mm – double plasterboard required.
For customization, the shower head outlet height is adjustable by 180 mm. Sealing felts are also included in the kit.
