SFD light pipes are mainly used in places where the implementation of a roof window is not possible. It is an ideal solution for bringing natural daylight indoors in rooms with little or no light.
The SFD light pipe consists of a dome, a connection, a 2,1 m long light reflecting tube, a ceiling frame, a prismatic diffuser and a mounting kit.
The SFD light pipe transmits daylight which enters the reflective tube through the roof mounted dome. The sun's rays, reflecting from the flexible tubular tube, are then guided downwards onto the diffuser. This mounted on the ceiling distributes the rays of light in a regular way, illuminating the room. The light pipe can also be used in the evenings and at night thanks to the lighting system installed at the end of the pipe which acts as a lamp.
