Stratobel 22.x is lighter than ordinary laminated glass, it has the same weight as 4 mm thick glass. This brings a gain of 5 kg/m² compared to 33.x laminated glass.
In fact, the glass weighs 2,5 kg/m²/mm thick, so each millimeter gained is important in terms of the handling of the glazing during installation and the joinery during use.
Stratobel 22.x is ideal in furniture applications for furniture doors or sliding partitions. It is suitable for the manufacture of double or triple glazing and can be easily installed as a replacement in standard frames. The maximum dimensions must comply with the standards and recommendations valid in France.
Finally, Stratobel 22.x is also a safety glass: Stratobel 22.1 is classified 2B2 while Stratobel 22.2 is classified 2B1 according to standard EN 12600. This allows effective prevention of accidents and defenestration.
Stratobel 22.x can be combined with AGC's various low emissivity and solar control layers (such as iplus 1.1 or Energy) for optimum performance in terms of thermal insulation and solar protection.
Indoors, it can be assembled with white or colored PVB spacers to add decor to a sliding door or furniture doors.
Stratobel 22.x is Cradle to Cradle certified at the Silver level and Classified A+ in terms of VOC emissions in indoor air.
