The R1 gauge is a ready-to-use connected crack meter that allows remote crack monitoring. The gauge has three sensors: linear measurement sensor, temperature sensor and humidity sensor.
The case is designed with reduced dimensions and contains the communication module with its antenna. No additional equipment is required for data transmission. No special computer skills are required to install the R1 gauge.
The R1 gauge is designed to be simple to install. All configuration and monitoring of measurements is done in a few clicks directly with the free web application https://saugnac.app. The use of the application is without limitation and available on smartphone or PC.
The R1 gauge connects to the LTE-M / Nb-IoT network based on 4G antennas with a protocol allowing long range and through walls (possibility of receiving underground where a phone does not receive).

The autonomy of the R1 gauge varies from 2 years to more than 7 years under normal conditions. An alert is sent at the end of battery life to warn of the need to change the battery.
