To meet health and cultural needs Milliken has created 'Social Factor': a collection of carpet tiles with an informative design that can easily be inserted into an existing tile layout. Milliken designers rose to the challenge and created a collection of aesthetic flooring to facilitate a safe return to work.
Tiles can easily be used to draw boundaries, create zones, indicate orientation, facilitate movement, direct traffic, and provide measurement through graphic messages, colors, and patterns.
Social Factor carpet tiles encourage responsible behaviors such as social distancing and enhanced hygiene practices. Designs include distancing and direction arrows, footprints, chair positions and hand washing icons. They provide a highly visible and easy-to-follow guide for returning employees to work. Additionally, they bring feel-good elements to enhance the workspace experience: from the introduction of bright colors and beautiful patterns, to the use of underlays for a walking experience. with improved acoustics and comfort.
The collection consists of five ranges; the first "Chase The Rainbow", "Set In Concrete", "Drawn Together", "Clerkenwell Life" and "Fixed with Stripes". Together, these five designs form a powerful arsenal of tools to help protect employees back in the workplace.
