To meet the security requirements of sensitive sites, it was a question of imagining a more economical solution than that commonly used today, namely a complete cladding of the modular building with plasterboard, expensive and not very suitable for rental. .
This is how the idea for Progress 2 Feu was born at R&D at Algeco, whose fire stability has been demonstrated. The tests were carried out by the EFECTIS France Laboratory, a subsidiary of CTICM (Industrial Technical Center for Metallic Construction), in Maizières-Lès-Metz. They completed the theoretical study, carried out by this same laboratory, whose calculation methods had made it possible to simulate the fire behavior of the Progress 2 Fire module. The technical tests consisted in installing a temperature of up to 1000 ° C for 1 hour inside the module tested.
In addition, the tests revealed that the floor of the floor had reached a temperature of only 30 ° C after one hour, while the temperature inside the module was at 1000 ° C.
The Progress 2 Fire module therefore meets European standards R60 (fire stability 60 ') and EI 60 (fire stop between floors 60').

Algeco is able to ensure the conformity of a building to RT 2012 thanks to the PERRENOUD V5.027 CSTB V1.1.6.3 engine software which verifies and confirms the performance of Progress 2.
