ARCHLine: the excellent alternative to BIM software!
A true gateway to BIM, ARCHLine is a 2D and 3D design software intended for the creation of architectural projects. It is one of the most open building design software on the market, easy to understand and use.
You will find all the architectural and layout features you need for your projects!
The “Blueprint” feature is available in version 2024 of ARCHLine. Developed and registered by the publisher CADLINE, it is an exclusive on the BIM software market! ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Revit… do not have this functionality.
This innovation revolutionizes BIM design from a simple 2D DWG file, offering a unique and simplified approach!
Other new features of the software in version 2024: the creation of parametric trusses, ARCHLine Warehouse, the import of point clouds (.RCS and LAS formats), a new Dashboard and improvements for the display of 2D plans.

The Blueprint feature provides a unique and simplified approach to importing images, vectorizing them, and quickly modeling architectural elements. Its integration into the ARCHLine workflow makes it a powerful tool for architects and design firms, allowing them to Create complex 3D models with high efficiency from simple 2D DWG.
This new feature works in two stages:
- First, it allows importing images or DWG files. When an image or DWG file is imported, Blueprint automates a creation process in two steps. First, the image is placed in the workspace where Blueprint automatically creates a vectorized version of the image, in addition to the original image. This vectorized version displays elements such as lines, polylines, etc., making it easier to edit and clean up the image.
- Next, Blueprint allows you to quickly model walls and architectural elements from this vectorized image. The user can define wall thickness constraints, which allows ARCHLine to understand where to place walls by detecting parallels. This simplifies the process of creating walls, interior partitions and other architectural elements. Once walls are created, they can be edited to adjust their structure and materials.
This feature is particularly useful for generate a 3D model from a base image, whether it is a JPEG/PNG image or a DWG file. Blueprint helps avoid the laborious task of redesigning every element of the building, by automating much of the process.
This saves time and provides a solid working basis for architectural modeling in ARCHLine.
