CAREA® is developing a solution for reusing its facade cladding in order to give it a second life after removal on site.
This approach is based on a comprehensive process, overseen by CAREA®, from careful removal to requalification and reuse of the products. The recovered cladding is inspected, cleaned, and reconditioned before being redirected for reuse or, when its condition does not allow it, for recycling.
The system specifically concerns grooved and insert cladding. CAREA® supports the various project stakeholders at each stage: defining the lots, training in removal and installation, providing packaging resources, product take-back, controls and industrial requalification.
The objective: to promote a circular economy for the façade, limit waste from deconstruction and reduce the environmental impact of projects, while maintaining a high level of requirement on the performance of reused products.
