France experienced its first heatwave as early as May, and temperatures have been reaching unprecedented levels for several days now. Faced with the intensification of these heatwaves, the Rénovons collective, coordinated by the Cler network, is highlighting the benefits of comprehensive energy-efficient renovations. The research they cite shows that such renovations could reduce the number of overheating days during the summer by two-thirds and maintain a difference of up to 10°C between indoor and outdoor temperatures. Read more
