Energy renovation: the government wants to reduce certain subsidies, but what do the figures actually say?

The government is considering eliminating, from September 1, 2026, the MaPrimeRénov' grant for most individual energy renovation projects ("single-step" improvements), including attic and roof insulation and window replacement. This change, which aims to focus public funding on comprehensive renovations and the most efficient equipment, has sparked numerous reactions within the industry. But do the figures actually confirm that these projects are the least effective?
