Pixar, Adobe, Apple, Autodesk, and NVIDIA, along with the Joint Development Foundation (JDF), affiliated with the Linux Foundation, today announced the creation of the Alliance for OpenUSD (AOUSD) to promote standardization, development, the evolution and growth of Pixar's Universal Scene Description technology.
